 RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT

PARTICIPTION

1-All bonafide members of a specialty are qualified to participate however, each specialty is to provide a list of 10 individuals consisting of 8 players and 2 officials

2- the match will start with 8 on field players, 4 from each of the teams, while kickoff will be done at the middle of the field 

GAME TIME

Each match shall comprise of 2 halves with a total of 25 minutes each and 10 minutes break, after which the teams will switch posts and kickoff again at the middle.

SUBSTITUTION

Each team is entitled to a maximum number of 3 substitutes per match and a substituted player will not be allowed to continue the same match later on.

All substitutions must be done through the referee

POINTS

A victory earns the victorious team a total of 3 points and the vanquished team 0 points

A draw earns both teams 1 point each

VIOLATIONS

1- Deliberate handling of the ball in an attempt prevent a goal bound ball attracts a yellow card and awards the opposing team a penalty kick to be taken from an assigned penalty spot, while the booked player gets 2 minutes out of the field subsequent card offense by the same player will see him get a red card which means an automatic sub on that player but of the substitution available for the team is exhausted, the team has to play with one man less

Deliberate ball handling from any other part of the field will not be awarded a penalty, however, the offending players gets to stay out for 2 minutes 

2- Unsportsmanlike attitude or brutal fowl on any player will earn the offender a straight red card which means immediate substitution.

A player guilty of this offense will be required to pay 200 naira to regain eligibility for the next match

All other fowl may or may not attract a yellow card depending on the gravity of the fowl as should be determined by the referee.

Any team not available 10 minutes into the kickoff shall be worked over but if 3 players are available, they'll be allowed to play and will only be allowed to bring in the 4th player after the 1st half of the game
